Al Hajj Fidahusein Haji Mohamed Khaki (1921–2016) was a revered philanthropist, community leader, and visionary whose life was devoted to the betterment of others. Known for his piety, humility, and wisdom, he was fondly referred to as the "Luqman Hakim of the community"—a reflection of his profound insight and exemplary character. His glowing face, marked with sincerity and compassion, became a beacon of hope and inspiration for all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Through his tireless efforts, Al Hajj Fidahusein left an indelible legacy across continents, shaping the Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri community with his commitment to service, unity, and knowledge.
In 1986, Al Hajj Fidahusein moved to England, where he became a central figure in the Hujjat Islamic Centre at Stanmore. His humility, wisdom, and dedication enriched the community in countless ways. He was instrumental in forming the Stanmore Senior Group, an initiative fostering connection, care, and support among elder members.
An advocate of interfaith understanding, Al Hajj Fidahusein’s efforts extended beyond the Khoja community. One of his memorable achievements was hosting Princess Diana, reflecting his ability to build bridges across diverse cultures and faiths.
