In the early 1970s, Al Hajj Fidahusein moved to Karachi, where his leadership and vision contributed to shaping the Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri community migrants from East Africa.. He played a foundational role in establishing Mehfil e Zainab in Nazimabad #1 in 1972, creating a space for spiritual and communal growth. He was also instrumental in the early development of Mehfil-e-Murtaza, ensuring it became a thriving center for religious and social activities. Al Hajj Fidahusein designed and finalized the emblem for Mehfil-e-Murtaza, which continues to symbolize its enduring mission.
